Blome (Richard), The History of the Holy Bible Contained in the Old and New Testament, With the Lives, Travels, and Sufferings of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, and the Apostles... The Whole Originally Designed by Richard Blome Esq; Cosmographer to Her Late Majesty Queen Anne, M. Cooper, [1753], printed title with 19th-century manuscript ownership signature (Richard Augustus Clack November 23rd 1829), signature and date repeated on the verso of the front endpaper, preface and allegorical frontispiece, 260 uncoloured engraved plates, 6 folding engraved maps and 8 folding plates including 7 after Raphael, some water staining, erratic pagination, marbled endpapers, near-contemporary calf, rebacked, folio, together with Prideaux (Humphrey). The Old and New Testament Connected in the History of the Jews and Neighbouring Nations..., 2 parts bound in one, Dublin. 1719, title page printed in red & black, 3 uncoloured engraved maps (including 2 folding), later endpapers, contemporary panelled calf, rebacked and repaired at extremities, folio Sold as a collection of maps and engravings, not subject to return.
