BIBLE, English -- The Bible, London, by the Deputies of Christopher Barker 1599 [but printed (?) in Amsterdam, after 1600], 3 parts in one, 4°, woodcut titles, illustrations (lacking "Apocrypha", as usual, occasional light spotting), late 17th-century black morocco, tooled in gilt (spine rubbed), g.e. [Herbert 254; STC 2178] "The section containing the Apocrypha, though included in the list of books, was apparently omitted from all except a few copies. These Bibles were printed probably for English Use in the Low Countries" (Herbert).
