Bishops’ version, fifth folio edition, lacking general title (supplied in pen and ink facsimile), double column, black letter, woodcut illustrations to part titles and in text, without the double-page map and engraving of the Tabernacle (as issued), some repairs, mostly marginal but with occasional loss of text, some headlines shaved with loss, occasional slight worming and small hole through several preliminary leaves with slight loss of text, facsimile of map from 1574 edition and an engraved portrait of Matthew Parker also bound in at beginning, later blind-stamped calf, rebacked preserving old spine, [Herbert 155], folio, [ by the assignement of Christopher Barker , 1578].
