Contemporary London binding of brown goatskin gilt, boards with all-over pattern of repeated hatched diamond lozenges alternating with diamond-shaped flower and dot tools, initials 'EW' in central 2 lozenges of each board, borders of double dog's-tooth rolls, board edges gilt, spine gilt in compartments, each decorated with diamond-shaped flower and dot tools enclosed within 4 rose tools and 2 hatched diamonds, upper compartment with initials 'EW', gilt edges (a little rubbed, lacking ties, a few unobtrusive wormholes, resewn).
