Full red velvet, covers with four Baroque pierced silver cornerpieces of winged putti surrounded by acanthus, central medallions of Christ within an ornate pierced design, likely the original binding. 14 1/2 x 10 1/4 cm (36.5 x 26 cm); [16] ff., 467, [1], lxxiii pp.; 40 [2], 4 pp. Velvet worn, spine cracked, front board holding on old repair, some damage to the silver cornerpieces, margin of two leaves restored. Irregular pagination, apparently complete, but sold as a binding, not subject to return. An appealing example of Venetian liturgical printing, with two full-page engravings, and extensive use of red, in a binding of the period. C
