Off-white pages. #25 (vol. 4, #1): VG+ (4.5). Spine stress, a few small specks to back cover. White to off-white pages. Might slab at 5.0. #26 (vol. 4, #2): Good (2.0). Several splits amounting to 40% of spine, small corner chips, some spotting to back cover. Cream to off-white pages. #27 (vol. 4, #3): VG (4.0). Nov.-Dec., 1953. Spine stress, mild spine roll, minor corner creases, staple rust with rust migration, grease-pencilled distributor's mark to "B" in "Black." White pages. According to the Steve Ditko checklist in "Ditko Unleashed: An American Hero" (IDW/Editions DéEsse: 2016), this is Ditko's 2nd published story, after "Paper Romance" in Daring Love #1 (Sept.-Oct., 1953) and before "Hair Yee-eeee" in Strange Fantasy #9 (Dec. 1953).
