Bologna: Heirs of Vittorio Benacci, [1628]. 2 o (298 x 212 mm). 15 double-page engraved plates (one with small extension at top) by GIOVANNI BATTISTA CORIOLANO (first plate with ink stain and short tear, \Kp\k2 and one plate loose). This masque or pageant, called here a tournament, was held in honor of FERDINAND II DE' MEDICI (1610-1670), Grand Duke of Tuscany, on 20 March 1628, the theme of which was the imprisonment of Cupid in Delos, from which he was eventually liberated by the champions of Diana and Venus.
