Beschreibung:

(A) Case and quiver overall length is 58" including fringe and 31" wide including strap and fringe. Circa 1875. Classic Northern Plains bow case and quiver (Attributed to Crow by Carl Moon and J. Baldwin books) made of Native tanned hide. Bead work comprised of two shades of blue and white over red and blue wool trade cloth. Sinew sewn in bar and tab designs. The hide is soft and supple throughout, however, the wool trade cloth has holes and areas of loss throughout (moth damage). Please note additional tab bag attached to quiver which holds 5 metal arrow tips and 1 musket ball. CONDITION: Very good. (B) Bow 47"+ long not counting the curve. Likely original to the case and quiver. Classic shaped bow. (C) Set of three arrows are 24" to 25" long. Arrows have red and black paint minus any fletching. The tips are held on with sinew. Arrows retain fantastic blood grooves as pictured on page 313 in Carl Moon's book. PROVENANCE: Pictured in John Baldwin and Carl Moon's (page 312 and 313) Books. Item Dimensions: Larger: 58" x 31".
