Breech deeply stamped with "US / (Liberty cap) / CT / V". Flat lockplate stamped with eagle over "US" in an oval above "T. FRENCH". Rear tang stamped "CANTON / 1810". Standard iron Type I Model 1808 iron furniture and plain walnut stock. Stock has a period sheet brass repair to wrist. Complete with its original ramrod. CONDITION: As found and untouched, with dark patina on all iron components and scattered pitting. Lock appears to be in its original flintlock configuration with excellent markings.
