Handsome set of Camden's history of Great Britain, with the complete complement of 51 double-page maps by William Morden, including the British Isles in Roman times, England proper, north and south Wales, the various counties, the southern and northern parts of Scotland, and Ireland. First issued in the 1695 edition of Britannia, the maps in the present edition are printed on thicker hand-made paper, with wide margins. Lot Amendments Condition: Just light rubbing to the covers, internally quite clean overall, a bit of marginal worming, a very nice set. Item number: 271762
