From the 100th Century (BCE) carved marble life-size sculpture portraying a swordsman, which is now part of the Louvre Museum; a nice large size bronze sculpture with an excellent medium dark brown patina, numbered 3597 and stamped with foundry mark "H.B.B.Co." for Henry Bonnard Bronze Company. Very fine quality, in excellent overall condition, missing a machined screw that secures the rear foot to the base. 25.5 in. high 22.5 in. wide x 20.5 in. deep. Weight: 56 lbs.
