DE JODE, engraved portrait by CORNELIS GALLE after NICOLAS VAN DER HORST and ANTOINE SALLAERTS, engraved plate of the lying-in-state, folding plate of the Epitaph, title vignette, EXTRA-ILLUSTRATED with an engraving of the catafalque and variant impressions of the title, portrait and lying-in-state plate (lower margins extended), and letter-press title with variant vignette mounted. (Paper flaw on T1 affecting a few letters.) 19th-century calf gilt, blind-stamped arms of Stirling on front cover (front joint split). Provenance : an 18th-century cardinal (bookplate with motto "Virtutis Amore Cano"); Richard Heber (1773-1833, inkstamp on flyleaf); William Stirling Maxwell (binding, bookplate, pencil note on flyleaf). ISABELLA CLARA EUGENIA, Infanta of Spain's funeral celebration in Brussels.
