BYZANTINE BRONZE CROSS PENDANT GROUP Circa 6th-10th century AD. A mixed group of cast bronze pendant crosses comprising: a reliquary front with hinge, inscribed I/C/NH*KA/X/C; a flat pendant with incised cross decoration; a florid reliquary plate with hinge to the top, ring-and-dot motifs and pierced lugs to the reverse; a bifacial pendant with crucifixion to one face, standing nimbate figure to the reverse. Bronze, 85 grams total, 55-68 mm. Fine condition. [4] Provenance Private collection, Suffolk, UK; acquired in the 1990's.
