Beschreibung:

The first sporting derivative of Honda’s classic C100 Cub ‘step-thru’ - the C110 Sports Cub - appeared in October 1960. Unlike the Cub, the C110 was a proper small motorcycle, with spine frame and a more powerful version of the C100 motor having a higher compression ratio and an alloy cylinder head. In 1964 a new overhead-camshaft, all-alloy version of the Cub engine was introduced on the CS90 sports. Sold as the ‘S90’ in the UK, the latter abandoned Honda’s traditional leading-link front fork in favor of a telescopics, while a revised form of the spine frame and larger (18”) wheels were adopted at the same time. Although it only produced 8bhp, the ultra-lightweight (191lbs) CS90 was surprisingly nippy and provided many a fortunate learner with his/her first taste of proper motorcycling. This particular CS90 was bought used from a friend, William Kearns, and currently displays a total of only 5,599 miles on the odometer. Without reserve
