1905 Vintage Colt Single Action Army revolver, serial number 266654. Blue with case hardened frame and hammer. 4-3/4" barrel with 2-line Hartford, Connecticut address. Chambered in .38 Colt. 2-piece ivory grips. Accompanying revolver is a Colt Factory archival letter dated August 26, 1964, signed by R.H. Wagner. Letter documents configuration and shipment to Winchester Repeating Arms Company, New Haven, Connecticut in a shipment of 2 guns of same type. CONDITION: Fine with an overall gunmetal grey patina. Traces of original blue on cylinder. Grips are replacements and do not fit well to backstrap. Action is tight and crisp.
