Chokes are designated with stars "*" at top barrel for full choke and "**" at bottom for half choke. Bottom barrel also stamped with serial number "4535" "S2" "FN". The steel boxlock frame blued and gold inlaid boxlock action featuring detailed Midas grade engraving, including chiseled relief scrolls with scenes of three gold inlaid and engraved pheasants in flight on the left side surrounded by a fancy gold inlaid border. The right side with 3 gold inlaid ducks in flight with matching gold borders. The bottom action features a gold inlaid grouse, surrounded by relief scrolls and trigger guard bow with empty shield. Both sides of action signed by Browning master engraver "JL" for Jacquez Lodewyc and under pheasants tail signed L. Vrancken. The guns action is fitted with an inertia driven single gold washed trigger, long bottom tang, ejectors, non-auto thumb safe, and barrel selector. The smoky brown well figured high polished walnut stock has a finely checkered flat knob pistol grip and Browning brown recoil pad. Matched checkering on forearm. Gun lives in traditional Browning luggage case with vintage catalog. CONDITION: Very good. Barrels retain 98%+ blue finish with very light wear from forearm. Excellent shiny bores. Action retains its blued finish and engraving is sharp. Ejectors are in time. Trigger retains all majority of gold washed finish and is crisp. Stock is very good with a light handling and storage marks. Forend is very good. Nice gun.
