Lot consists of: (A) Stevens single shot No. 417 Walnut Hill target rifle and falling block action, adjustable tang sight, beaver tail forend, and pistol grip stock. NOTE: These rifles are known for their extreme accuracy. CONDITION: Very fine with approximately 90% original blue and case color, however someone has added a varnish type coating to the barrel and frame. Very strong shootable bore. Barrel has been drilled and tapped with scope mounts added. (B) Remington bolt action Model 416 U.S. military training rifle with "US Property" marking on rear of receiver, adjustable target sights, correct magazine clip, and correct sling and swivels. CONDITION: Most original blue remaining. Very nice wood. Strong shootable bore. Barrel drilled and tapped with scope mounts.
