Lot consist of: (A) Winchester Model 1894 lever action rifle. Made 1915. Two line company address/patent dates on the top of the barrel. Nickel steel barrel markings, in front of the caliber "30 W.C.F.". Winchester proofs on the chamber and frame. Trade marks and model markings on the upper tang. Round, steel barrel with pedestal blade front sight. Carbine type rear ladder sight. Full length magazine tube. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Saddle ring and stud present. Wood stock and forearm have been lightly refinished. Smooth metal butt plate. CONDITION: Metal retains 60% of its original finish with heavy patina on the frame and bands. Barrel has some light freckling, mainly towards the breech. Wood has handling marks and scratches. Clean bore with strong rifling. Mechanically fine. (B) Winchester Model 94 lever action carbine. Made 1947. Standard trade marks on the left side of the barrel. Winchester proofs on the barrel wand frame. Round, steel barrel with hooded blade front sight and buck horn style u-notch rear. Full length tube with a flat steel front band. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Wood stock and forearm have their original light oil finish. Added sling swivels. Checkered flat metal butt plate. CONDITION: Metal retains 70% of its original finish with light wear and some brown patina starting to form in areas. Wood is very good with light handling marks. Solid forearm with no visible cracks. Bore is clean with crips rifling. Mechanically fine.
