Single-action 4-shot pepperbox pattern pistol with forward sliding barrels and bell-shaped grips. Item shows C.SHARPS & CO./PHILADA. PA to right frame and to left. Serial numbers to frame and barrels match. Comes in modern production wood case with red felt lining, brass clasp, and a spare mainspring in box. Condition: Good. Bores are dark with patina and light pitting throughout. Barrels and hammer show a gray patina while frame displays some light tarnish at seams. Grips have some light scratches and handling wear but retain fine details. Case shows some abrasions and scratches to exterior and gasp to staining. Mainspring in item has broken and can be heard rattling inside frame. Other components continue to function as intended.
