Third Model Winchester model 1873 musket with 30 inch barrel. .44 WCF. Original five piece cleaning rod in butt. Made in 1903. CONDITION: Retains 90% original high luster blue with vivid case colors on the lever, hammer and buttplate. There is a spot of moderate pitting on the bottom of the barrel at the muzzle, no bigger than a dime. Some light handling marks in the finish. Wood is fine with some very light handling marks. The whole gun appears to have an old thin coat of dried oil or grease. Bore is fine with sharp rifling. Fine mechanical function.
