Engraved title, headpieces, tailpieces and initials (small marginal ink stains towards end). 19th-century red gilt morocco, gilt edges, turn-ins, blue silk doublures (a little worn at extremities, very slightly chipped at head of spine and back board). Although 'Lugduni' is given on the title page (as was usual for all Elzevier imprints intended for sale in Catholic countries), Willems identifies this work as an Amsterdam imprint. Willems 1232. With 3 other Elzevier imprints, Hugo Grotius's Mare Libero (Leiden, 1633, second impression, Willems 385), Livy's Historiarum quod extat ex recensinoe I.F.
