Carl Yastrzemski 1973-75 H&B Professional Model Bat Yaz's circa 1973-1975 H&B model W215 professional model bat is uncracked and shows evidence of outstanding use with some checking (grain separation) from repeated ball contact on the back barrel. The checking has been repaired with 8 small nails. The barrel is covered with ball marks and ball stitch impressions. Also visible on the bat are cleat marks and red and green bat rack streaks. There is a heavy coat of pine tar from the handle to the barrel. Yastrzemski's number (8) is on the knob in black marker. Also visible on the knob is a caricature written in black marker that could indicate the bat was used by another player as well. Length: 34 inches, Weight: 34.3 ounces.
