Richardson : And sold by A. Millar, et al. Date: 1748 Description: 7 volumes. Folding plate of music in Vol. II. (12mo) 6¼x3½, period half calf & marbled boards, morocco lettering pieces. First Edition. State with second line from bottom of p.149 of Vol. IV reading "all owed" for "allowed". Ownership signatures of H. Dunbar on front pastedowns; large, 20th century bookplate of Edith Taylor on front free endpapers. Lot Amendments Condition: Covers rubbed, spine worn, joints cracked or cracking, a few with earlier leather repairs, Vol. I rebacked with original spine strip laid on; some darkening and aging to contents, else very good.
