Five books printed in Amsterdam and Livorno between 1645 and 1778, with handwritten signatures and ownership inscriptions: 1. Babylonian Talmud, Tractates Shevuot, Makkot, Avot, and Minor Tractates. Amsterdam, 1645. Various signatures in Sephardic script: "The young Yitzchak Aryeh"; "The young Eliezer son of --- Alfand[---]"; "For the worship of G-d, the young Yaakov David -----[?]". 2. Chiddushei HaRitva, on tractates Eruvin, Ketubot and Bava Metzia. Amsterdam, [1729]. First edition. Incomplete copy. Ownership inscriptions: "Chacham Eliezer de Toledo" (presumably, R. Eliezer de Toledo [1770-1848], foremost rabbi in Turkey, particularly in Constantinople. Authored the responsa book "Mishnat R. Eliezer" [Salonika-Izmir, 1852-1872]). Many signatures and ownership inscriptions of R. Mendel HaKohen Katz of Pressburg (trustee of the Pressburg community and disciple of the Chatam Sofer), and his father "Avraham HaKohen of Pressburg"; "Moshe Hertzfeld" (disciple of the Chatam Sofer, a rabbi in Serdehel - Dunajská Streda); Yosef Eichler; and many other signatures and ownership inscription. R. Menachem Mendel son of R. Avraham HaKohen Katz of Pressburg, outstanding Torah scholar, righteous and holy man, a disciple of the Chatam Sofer. He served as scribe of the Pressburg Beit Din and trustee of the community of 47 years. His teacher the Chatam Sofer attested: "If he had lived at the time of the Temple, he would have been fitting to serve as High Priest". His father-in-law, in his second marriage, was R.
