Collection of approximately 270 New Year's ("Shana Tova") greeting cards and postcards. Different publishers, locations and dates, 1884-1950, (most from the early decades of the 20th century). Impressive varied collection, including postcards with paper cut-outs and fabric strips, cards with pictures of the sender, two greeting cards printed on a transparency, postcards with illustrations by different artists, and more. 19 postcards are undivided. Approximately 40 of the items were sent by post. Size and condition vary. Overall good condition. Stains and creases. Traces of glue on the s of several postcards.
