Possibly those of Philippe de Neuville (d.1781), Minster of the Marine, or Jean Nicolas Buache de Neuville (1741-1825), who in 1782 replaced d'Anville as Premier Géographe du Roi, and then in 1794 was appointed by Napoleon as Chef du Dépôt de la Marine; Anatole Delorme, inscription; Pierre Berès, book label inside upper cover.
