California map with large inset map of San Francisco. A map showing Territories of Washington and Oregon shows little development west of the Cascade Mountains, but extends out into modern day Idaho. The double-page maps include: United States, New York & surrounding cities, Texas, Kansas & Nebraska, and England & Wales. Phillips Atlases 827. Lot Amendments Condition: Moderate to heavily worn at edges, plus many stains and much rubbing to cloth; double-page Texas map is chipped at edges, else maps are generally near fine, contents clean with scattered edge wear such as tiny tears and a few instances of marginal ink writing; very good.
