(Some occasional pale spotting, advertisement leaves 11/1.8 and 11/2.7 trimmed at bottom with some loss of text.) Original rose cloth, printed paper title label on upper cover (some slight darkening at edges). FIRST EDITION of the first Columbus directory. A history of the city opens the text, followed by a listing of churches, city officers, city council members, descriptions of local organizations and a list of the names of householders, heads of families and businesses, with business names provided in bold type.
