The particular bit is show on page 155 of Knopp, Made in the CSA: Saddle Makers of the Confederacy and a detail of the rosette in pictured on page 379 of Pritchard and Huey, el al, The English Connection. Provenance: John Ashworth Collection Condition: Very good. Normal age and service wear, light crazing on the leather.
