cover 1670/71 entire letter from Dublin addressed to John Morris and Robert Clayton in London, manuscript rate "4" then altered to "6" (possibly due to mistaken reading of the address as for Londonderry rather than London), the reverse showing two Bishop Marks in different inks, one in black very clear "FE/14", the other in greyish water ink alongside for "FE" but with day date unclear, also showing Clayton archive handstamp; a few minor imperfections but in no way detracting from this highly important Irish rarity. The earliest known Dublin Bishop Mark in private hands. B.P.A. Certificate (1998). Photo
