[London: c.1839.] A pair of miniature globes, terrestrial and celestial, diameter 2.75 inches (72 mm), each made up of 12 hand-colored engraved gores laid over a sphere, and mounted on later half meridian circles and turned wooden stands. The terrestrial with some restoration affecting the title and parts of the Pacific and Africa, both globes discolored. height (with stands) 6.5 inches (170 mm). Cf.
