CRIME -- A collection of eleven rare tracts and broadsides inlaid into a quarto album entitled 'Remarkable Criminals, Trials, Confessions 1661-1750' [in fact 1770], with related iconography, including engraved strip narratives extracted from John Reynolds' The Triumph of God's Revenge against Murder (1678 and 1679 editions). Later 19th-century red half roan, gilt edges (extremities worn). Provenance : Charles Lilburn (bookplate) -- Alan Angele (book label). These rare printings include
