Contemporary half calf, spines gilt, each with gilt lettered yellow and green morocco spine label (light chipping to head of spine of vol. II). Second edition, with a few additions. The bibliographical part of the introduction includes some "very interesting hints and observations in regards to manuscripts and books" ( Lexikon des gesamten Buchwesens I, 402).
