In a designer binding by Denise Lubett (initialled DYL 1973 on rear doublure), full midnight black crushed morocco covers with cuir bouilli onlay (also in black) on lower half of both covers, turquoise geometric motif outlined in gold on front, the same motif in simple gold outline in rear, flat spine, plain black morocco doublures, housed in slipcase and chemise. 8 1/4 inches (21 cm); 80 pp., illustrated by Thomas Lowinsky. Binding and book immaculate; Together with HEMINGWAY, ERNEST. Death in the Afternoon. New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1932. First edition, with Scribner's seal and "A" on copyright page.
