She gained a Zoology degree at Oxford University, and subsequently undertook courses in anatomical and life drawing, amongst other disciplines. Crosby has a number of works around the United Kingdom, including a large bronze horse overlooking Loch Fyne, in Argyll and Bute, Acton Court near Bristol, and internationally in Puerto Rico.
