Tonson, 1760, some toning and occasional spotting, front pastedowns with armorial bookplate of Lewis Teissier and ownership label of Robert Vicor Elvey, contemporary calf, gilt decorated spines with contrasting morocco labels, joints lightly cracked, 8vo, together with: Pope (Alexander), The Works ... with his last corrections, additions, and improvements: together with the commentary and notes of his editor, 9 volumes, London: C. Bathurst, W. Stahan, J. & F. Rivington [& others], 1770, 24 engraved plates, occasional toning and light scattered spotting, front blank in first volume inscribed 'To Capt. Harnage as a memento of Colonel and Mrs Harnage from Jane Harnage, August 10 1835, Minster Yard Lincoln', endpapers renewed, gilt gauffered edges, contemporary tree calf, name Lt. Col.
