E. Howard No. 9 Figure Eight Wall Regulator Clock. Original 9 in. painted metal dial signed "E. Howard & Co., Boston". Has black Roman hour numerals and blued open moon hands; brass 8 day weight driven time only movement signed "E. Howard & Co., Boston" has an anchor escapement, solid brass pulley, iron weight, gilt wood pendulum stick with damascened brass covered bob and black painted weight baffle. In a walnut figure 8 case with original red, black and gold leaf reverse painted throat and tablet glasses in very good condition. Overcoated original finish, has original setup instructions label behind the door and stamped with number "1" throughout the case; the front-piece of the upper bezel is missing, weight is replaced, missing front tab and screw for lockdown hardware. 37.5 in. high x 12.5 in. wide x 5.25 in. deep. Weight: 19 lbs.
