Housed in a full pressed paper case (heavy wear including spine repaired with tape and splitting/loss to pieces of covers). -- Sixth plate ambrotype portrait of Nell looking rather morose, with clipped paper inscription and note behind image reading "Nell after scarlet fever." (Darkening to edges of plate.) Spots are visible on Nell's chest, shoulders, and arms. Housed in a full pressed paper case (wear to surface, spine repaired with tape, velvet pad loose). -- Ninth plate ambrotype portrait of Nell with clipped paper inscription reading simply "'Nell.' Cornelia E. Miles" and pencil inscription behind image reading "Cornelia." (Some spotting to image, with darkening to edges.)
