Edwardian Platinum, Sapphire and Diamond Ring The pierced platinum mount centering one cushion-shaped sapphire approximately 2.00 cts., flanked by 2 old European-cut diamonds approximately 2.00 cts., accented by numerous small single-cut diamonds, circa 1915, with hinged shank. Size 8 1/4. With AGL report no. CS 47874 stating that the sapphire is of Burma (Myanmar) origin, no gemological evidence of heat or clarity enhancement. C
Sapphire: very deep rich bright blue, brighter blue than photo, good color concentration, clean, nice cut, lively. With AGL report, Burma origin, no gemological evidence of heat or clarity enhancement. 2 diamonds: J-K-VS, faces up whiter, both with several small chips at edge, one with chip on pavilion close to girdle, from top, a small chip at girde. Lovely diamond-set mounting. Hinged shank at base.
