Emile Galle (French, 1846-1904): an Art Nouveau cameo glass vase, of tapering diamond section, circa 1900, decorated in frosted yellow ground, overlaid and acid etched with a design of aquilegias and dense purple foliage at the base, signed Galle in cameo, top rim 9.5 by 6.5cm, 13.5 by 9.5 by 38.5cm high. Provenance: private collection, purchased 2013 from a French antiques shop 'Antiquities Remparts', in Vannes, Brittany.
