Montgomery in appreciation of the great reception I have received from the great port of which you are commander The Bear Car RE Byrd Jr. 10 x 8 in. Richard E. Byrd served as rear admiral in the U.S. Navy and was the first man to reach the North and South Poles by aircraft, for which he was awarded the Medal of Honor. Condition: Inscription in signature in very good to near excellent condition. Photo is also in very good condition overall.
