.44 caliber, 9" barrel stamped Address Saml. Colt New York City. Right frame stamped 1847. Left frame stamped in two locations A Company No. 111. Cylinder stamped A Company No. 111/W LOrsmby St. NY. Bottom of steel buttplate strip stamped A Company No. 111. Brass trigger guard stamped A Com.y No 111. This replica firearm was allegedly made by noted gunmaker Tom Haas. Condition: All steel metal regions are pitted and showing a grey to brown color. Engraving on the cylinder is faint but visible. Brass has been cleaned bright. All markings are in their proper places including a very faint WAT inspector's cartouche on right side of grips. This gun is extremely well-made reproduction of a Walker Colt and nicely aged to look old. It was examined by the "Parade of Walkers" by members of the Texas Gun Collectors and proven by them to be a reproduction.
