The musical automata pictures were made around the turn of the century and included a single play music box, coupled with a working clock. Both devices operate from a key wind, and this clock ticks and the music box plays by control. The picture itself has a nighttime feel to it, moonlight through passing clouds, and the Big Ben's face lit and bright. The frame is painted oak with applied decorative carvings. CONSIDERATIONS: Overall cosmetics are great, age of the frame may post date the automata, but they are paired well. All the mechanics appear to operate well.
