Contemporary English vellum gilt, covers with gilt sawtooth borders, gilt floral ornaments at each corner, spine in six compartments, morocco lettering piece in one (label a bit worn), a repeated gilt panel in the rest, marbled endpapers and edges; cloth slipcase. Provenance : purchased through Dawson's, London at Sotheby's, London, 8 April 1968, lot 70. A FINE COPY OF THE FIRST EDITION BOUND IN CONTEMPORARY VELLUM.
