The earliest edition of the Spanish-language Bible printed in America, reprinted from the third edition of this version published at Madrid, 1807-16. This is the "Scio" version, preceding in America the more liberal "Amat" version, published in 17 volumes, 1835-1836. OCLC locates but at single copy of this edition, at Cambridge University. The imprint reads: "Mégico : en Casa de Cornelio C. Sebring", or " ... Sebring y West", or " ... Sebring y Compañia".
