Five Ancient Near Eastern seals Circa 5000-400 B.C. Including a black hardstone hemispheroid stamp seal with an ibex, Anatolia/North Syria, circa 5000-4000 B.C.; a black stone stamp seal with pierced handle, the round flat face with a standing man with arms extended, interspersed with dots, Anatolia/North Syria, 4000-2000 B.C.; a cylinder seal of grey and mottled orange stone, with a seated deity facing a winged lion, with two flies, two rosettes and three rhombs and a three line cuneiform inscription, Kassite, circa 1400-1100 B.C; a chalcedony domed octagonal stamp seal with a standing worshipper with raised hands before a pedestal supporting a mush-hush monster with spade (the symbol of Marduk) and styluses (the symbol of Nabu) on its back, a crescent above, Late Babylonian, circa 700-400 B.C.; and a banded chalcedony domed stamp seal, with two rearing animals flanking a bush, Late Assyrian or Babylonian, 700-400 B.C, ¾in-1½in (2cm-3.5cm); a domed chalcedony stamp seal, Not Ancient; and a Chinese carnelian amulet, of a ferret, circa A.D. 1920 (7)
