The Hague: Gosse and Neaulme, 1728-1729. 3 volumes, 2° (369 x 231mm), engraved frontispiece and 5 plates, engraved culs-de-lampes, all by Bernard Picart titles ruled in red, typographical borders throughout (last leaf of vol. III browned at margins), contemporary French red morocco, triple fillet borders with fleurons at corners, gilt panelled spine with repeated fleuron encompassed by smaller tools, gilt edges (a few light scuff marks). Provenance : Charles Boone (18th-century armorial bookplate). FIRST COLLECTED EDITION, LARGE-PAPER COPY with borders. Published in both folio and quarto formats. FINE COPY.
