Bezzi reports on the festival celebrated in Forli in October 1636 in honor of the miraculous image of the "Virgin of Fire" believed to have intervened in several conflagrations. The image was transported to a new chapel through streets in which ornate decorations, triumphal arches, etc. had been erected. The festal decorations were done by the Bolognese artist Floriano dal Buono, best known for the large panorama of his native city. Six folding and one full-page plate illustrate floats constructed for the procession; eight engravings are of triumphal arches or street scenes and one plate is a section and plan of the new chapel.
