FRANCISCO GOYA (1746-1828) El Esforzado Rendon Picando un Toro, de Cuya Suerte Murió en la Plaza de Madrid, Plate 28 from La Tauromaquia (Harris 231) etching and aquatint in dark umber, 1855, on wove paper, from Harris's second edition (of seven) of an unknown but assumed small edition size, with full margins, foxing and soiling throughout (particularly heavy in the margins), a stain and two small holes in the left margin, time staining, glued and taped to the overmat along the upper and right margins, framed P. 8¼ x 12¼ in. (210 x 311 mm.) S. 12 7/8 x 17¾ in. (327 x 451 mm.)
