Tinted lithographed frontispiece, folding engraved chart, partially handcolored. Publisher's pebbled blue cloth; rebacked. First edition. Signed by Armstrong on the verso of the title-page, with a further notation by the recipient, Charles Woolley; accompanied by a cabinet card albumen photograph of Armstrong, signed on the verso, 1899, and by three autograph letters signed by Armstrong to Woolley, 1898–1899.
